Honor has unveiled a comprehensive Protect Plan in anticipation of the upcoming launch of the X9b in India on February 15. This exclusive plan is set to accompany the release of the midrange device, offering an array of benefits to its purchasers.
Included in the Protect Plan is a complimentary one-time screen replacement service, ensuring users can enjoy their device with peace of mind. Additionally, buyers will benefit from an extended warranty period, enhanced door-to-door phone servicing, and the option for an assured buyback program.
According to an official statement, the standalone cost of the Protect Plan is INR2,999 ($36/€33). The screen replacement service is valid within the initial six months of purchase, with convenient doorstep pickup and delivery to authorized service centers for repairs.
The Buy Back program allows purchasers to reconsider their investment within 30 days. Should they choose to return the device, they stand to receive up to 90% of the invoice value, subject to certain conditions.
Extending the standard 12-month warranty, the Protect Plan adds an additional 6 months of coverage, totaling 18 months of protection against manufacturing defects.
While already available in other South Asian markets, the X9b is marketed as the Magic6 Lite in Europe. Early reviews suggest it offers a compelling blend of features at a competitive price point, estimated at around €400.
With the introduction of the Protect Plan, Honor aims to provide consumers with added assurance and value, reinforcing their commitment to customer satisfaction.
