Back in September of this year, Nokia introduced the G42 5G smartphone to the Indian market, offering it in a single configuration featuring 6GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage. With an initial price of Rs 12,599, this smartphone has now become even more appealing, currently available for just Rs 11,999 during a special offer on Amazon. However, Nokia isn’t done surprising us yet and is teasing users with a new configuration for the Nokia G42 5G.

The Upcoming Transformation

According to Nokia, the G42 5G is set to make a comeback in India with a significant upgrade: 16GB of RAM and a generous 256GB of internal storage. It’s worth noting that the 16GB of RAM comprises 8GB of physical RAM and an additional 8GB of virtual RAM. Nokia Mobile India recently shared a video on X giving us a sneak peek at this new version of the phone, which is set to debut in a vibrant So Pink color variant. Interestingly, the So Pink option wasn’t initially available when the Nokia G42 5G was first launched in India, which featured So Grey and So Purple variants.
